before sundown

I had one of those glorious weekends that felt like the perfect combination of  relaxation, getting things done and fun with friends. On Saturday evening I attended an intimate rooftop cocktail and dinner party in honor of a friends birthday (it’s practically summer here in SF) in this outfit. It felt like the perfect combination of relaxed and glamorous, which is exactly the way I wanted to look and feel on an evening that ended with everyone lounging in the living room carpet with bottles of wine. Plus, you know how I feel about bright pink ♥

Hope you all had similarly lovely weekends! Viva la Indian Winter.

lemon aide

H&M sweater (also seen here), Old Navy skirt, Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch, Gap heels, Ray Ban sunglasses, NARS lip pencil ‘Dragon Girl’

A dash of lemon yellow adds just the right amount of optimism to a January ensemble ♥ How adorable is this Old Navy striped midi skirt (came with a belt, and I removed it). A total score .

Happy Happy Friday everyone! Thanks for all of your kind words about my Glitter Guide ‘How To’ feature! I am so glad you all liked it and found it helpful! I am to please afterall!

working girl

H&M dress (similar here), Sanctuary vest, BR Karlie briefcase bag, Frye boots, Chan Luu & c/o Baublebar bracelets, Topshop earrings

Give me a briefcase-esque bag and a tie front shirt dress and suddenly I feel all professional. Of course, I must funk it up with some faux fur, because that’s just who I am.

Anthropologie blazer, Opening Ceremony tee, Madewell jeans, Vince Camuto heels, America Apparel purple clutch, vintage and c/o Sears necklaces, Topshop earrings

Rodarte for Opening Ceremony sweatshirt, BR skirt, Frye heels, Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch, c/o Baublebar cuff, NARS ‘Funny Face’ lipstick

I don’t know what happened this morning, but when I was putting this outfit together things took a serious turn into schoolgirl land, and I went for it. I like to call it an ode to. Complete with my comfiest not-quite-couture sweatshirt I got at Opening Ceremony in New York and my brightest of pink lipsticks because I am so over winterfied Burgundy lips. Bring on the Spring I say.

sass in boots

BR Sweater dress, J. Crew belt, Elizabeth & James boots, Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch, Alexis Bittar pink bracelet & Marc by Marc Jacobs watch

This is one of those outfits I threw on it a rush out the door in the morning. All black and a simple sophisticated dress is my go-to for mornings like these, and this time I decided to throw in a little P.O.C. (that’s pop of color for those not in the know) neon pink and my new to me (consignment steal!) Elizabeth & James serious made-for-walkin’ boots. This simple look ended up being a total hit at the office, with ‘Sass’ becoming my nickname for the day. I think it was the boots…

Happy Weekend!

shearling darling

Aritzia sweater, Trouve skirt, Sanctuary vest, Frye boots, House of Harlow sunglasses, Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch

This faux shearling vest has quickly become a go-to for me lately as it is soooo cozy and warm, I literally have been throwing it over EVERYTHING. And since it has been so nice here lately, I can wear it pretty much as outerwear for a midday coffee run. perfect.
